One day, Thomas Jefferson, the President of the U.S.A., was crossing a deep river on a horse with some travelers.[qh]

One of the travelers didn’t have a horse, so he asked Jefferson to take him across.[qh]

After they both made it safely on the other side of the river, someone asked the man,[qh]
