President Barack Obama pledged U.S. support for Syrians trying to oust their president in remarks to the United Nations.
Obama called Bashar Assad a dictator who massacres his own people, still U.N Chief Ban Ki-Moon emphasized ending Syria's civil war. Reports indicate multiple bombs have exploded inside a school in the Syrian capital of Damascus. Activists say government forces are using the school as a base to attack rebellious neighborhoods. Initial reports are inconsistent, some say seven people were wounded, others claim as many as 20 have been injured. Spain's financial crisis took two major hits today. Thousands of protestors enraged with authoritative cutbacks and marched on parliament. Meanwhile Spain's cost increased during an auction of its debt. The NFL is holding the Seattle Seahawks'14-12 win over the Green Bay Packers. The league says Seattle receiver Golden Tate should have been called for offensive pass interference before the game-winning catch.
