这得看报纸的性质。报纸是及时的阅读材料，上面刊登有最新的信息和广告。人们既可以从中获得信息，也可以得到娱乐放松。那些想每天才能得到最新消息的人们就会非常喜欢读报纸。报纸成为人们生活的一部分，报纸给人们带来信息和娱乐。

I would like to start with the newspaper journalists. The journalist generally operate in the field and submit their reports or stories on local,national or international issues pertaining to politics, trade, commerce,defense,sports, etc.The newspaper journalists have to write out the story before the deadline and it must contain all the correct information. For magazine journalists who write features or analytical articles in magazines,they might not need to have any formal and professional academic qualification.What is required is in-depth knowledge, command over the language concerned and outstanding analytical capability.
我想先讲讲新闻记者。记者通常采访有关地方、国家或国际政治、贸易、商业、国防、体育等方面的大事并提交他们的报道或文章。新闻记者一定要在规定期限内写好正确的信息。杂志记者写的是有特征、有分析力的杂志文章，他们可能不需要什么正式和专业的学术素质。他们最重要的是具备更深的知识，掌握一定的语言驾驭分析能力。

The most important quality of a good journalist is to ensure the authenticity of information. Secondly,the journalist must have a good command of the language. Besides, he or she should have a "head for news",selecting proper stories which can arouse people's interest and transform it into a lively story. Finally,an ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines is also a quality a good journalist should have.
一个好记者要具备的最重要的素质是要保证信息的真实性，然后也需要很好的语言驾驭能力，此外，记者需要新闻头脑，选择那些能够吸引读者兴趣的事然后把它们写得更有趣生动。最后，对于一个记者来说在最后交稿期限内顶住压力也很重要。
