Greek lawmakers discuss new bailout
希腊立法者讨论新救助方案
Greek lawmakers are discussing the country's critical third bailout. The parliamentary committee meetings come before the draft bill proceeds to a full assembly debate and vote.
The draft bill for the three-year, roughly 85 billion euro bailout includes harsh spending cuts and tax hikes. The terms have left Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras battling severe dissent from within his own party. But the bill is expected to pass with votes from the opposition.
Once passed, the deal will need to be signed off by the 19 eurozone finance ministers, who are set to meet on Friday. It also requires approval from several other eurozone parliaments before any funds can be disbursed.
