(1)on the right track: right in doing things or in thinking that way　想得对；做得好
e.g.:This time you compromised with her; I think you are being mature and you're on the right track.

(2)take pains:[be at pains, be at the pains of]　费尽力气；煞费苦心；尽力设法
e.g.:The task is so tough that the researchers take great pains to work out an ideal solution to the technical problem.
这项任务十分艰巨，研究人员呕心沥血给这个技术问题找到了理想解决方案。
(3)find a niche for oneself:适得其所；找准自己的位置
e.g.:The ambitious man tries every means to apple-polish the boss and then find a niche for himself as the sales director.

(4)as happy as a king or a lark:非常幸福/快乐
e.g.:The farmer had a good harvest and was naturally as happy as a lark.

(5)make a point of:to consider or treat (an action or activity) as indispensable 特别注意；重视
e.g.:The young man made a point of visiting his niece on the way home.
这位年轻人总是在回家的路上特别来看望他的侄女。
(6)make much of:重视；器重；了解；恭维；奉承
e.g.:She was used to being made much of.
她习惯于受人奉承。
I couldn't make much of that new book of his.
我不太懂他那本新书。
