Tom: Do you want to go to the movies tonight?
汤姆：今晚你想去看电影吗？
Lily: Actually. I just saw a horror movie last night, and it scared me half to death.
莉莉：实际上，我昨晚刚看了部惊悚电影，把我吓了个半死。
Tom: Well, we could see something different, like a detective film.
汤姆：嗯，我们可以看风格不同的片子嘛，比如侦探片。
Lily: I don't really like detective stories. They always make me so nervous.
莉莉：我不怎么喜欢看侦探故事，总让我很紧张。
Tom: How about a comedy?
汤姆：那么喜剧片呢？
Lily: No. I don't think comedies today are natural or cheerful.
莉莉：不喜欢，我觉得现在的喜剧片演得不自然也不好笑。
Tom: How about a love story then?
汤姆：那看个爱情故事怎么样？
Lily: No, romance is boring.
莉莉：不好，爱情故事都很乏味的。
Tom : I hope you don't think our romance is boring.
汤姆：我希望你不会觉得我们俩的爱情故事也乏味吧。
Lily: No, just others'. Our romance story is real and exciting.
莉莉：不会的，仅指别人的。我们俩的爱情既真实又让人激动不已。
Tom: Well, western. a venture. war or science fiction movies, which of them do you like best?
汤姆：好吧，西部片、探险片、战争片或者科幻片，你最喜欢哪种？
Lily: Science fiction, I think.
莉莉：科幻片吧。
Tom : Oh, sure. Well have a son who's a scientist.
汤姆：哦，当然可以。我们将来的儿子就会是一位科学家。
Lily: Stop daydreaming!
莉莉：别做白日梦了！
Tom : I'm full of confidence.
汤姆：我倒满怀信心呢。
