The thing I just mentioned above is "grab a red envelope ". In real life, giving red packets is a custom in China, which happens in Spring Festival. A red packet is simply a red envelope with gift money in it, which symbolizes luck and wealth. Red packets are symbolically handed out to younger generations by their parents, grandparents, relatives, close neighbors and friends, and usually the immediate family gives red packets to the children on New Year's Eve. The pretty envelopes make the present seem more sincere.

However, on the Internet, some companies or organizations give them away to improve their visibilities, sometimes they do so in order to return customers. Most people like it and it is popular with young people in particular. But I don't think it is proper good.

As we all know, Spring Festival is the most important day in a year, when the family gets together to eat New Year's Eve dinner. It should have been warm and satisfactory, but now people bow and use their phones to grab red packets, which makes others unhappy and uncomfortable. Therefore, originally old family reunion dinner becomes cold and cheerless, isn't that worth rethinking? What we should do is companying our family, rather than wasting time on the false things.

In a word, I don't agree with this behavior, it might even bring cheat. We should spend more time with our family, and go to a meaningful year of happiness.
