Well, I think Abi will be walking around like a queen. I think the hardest thing going through was when the chemotherapy failed for a second time and I was really faced with my mortality and having to face the fear of death. I had to face losing my fertility, chemo failing twice. I would crash and feel so much despair, and feel really lost. Seeing myself get through it, really actually was one of the greatest gifts that I've ever had. And because when you conquer such a huge fear you just don't fear life so much anymore. Are you ready? Yeah! One...two, three. Wow! Oh my Goodness! It's amazing! It looks like a real crown! It's so much better than hair! I wish I have that everyday!
My name is Abi and I'm 27 years old. I'm a professional singer. And a year ago I was diagnosed with Hodgkin Lymphoma which is a type of blood cancer. I'm here today to get a henna tattoo from the fabulous Ash Kumar. I do henna crowns for raising confidence in someone. I'm using my arts to make you stand out and shine, really. Losing my hair was really difficult at first. Having a bald head and the appearance that cancer gives you, you know, no eyebrows, no eyelashes, you do have a lot of attention in the street, people looking at you.
