A big political score for Barack Obama this weekend,former US Secretary of State Colin Powell has officially endorsed the senator. Powell said Obama is better suited to address the nation's economic problems and improve its standing in the world. Powell who is a retired US general and republican was once seen as a possible presidential candidate himself.
President Bush is calling for a serious of global summit to address the economy. The first summit will be focused on ways of current crisis being addressed as well as ways to keep it from happening again. No data has been said though white house state man says the gathering will be held in the United States soon after the November 4th General Election.
Buddhist in Iraq leaders are discussing the future of Buddhist troops in Iraq. The Britain new Defense Minister John Harding made his first visit to Iraq around the weekend. A UN minded allowing Buddhist forces to be in Iraq expires at the end of this year. The US is working on the similar deal throught remaining in Iraq beyond 2008.
A politician’s comedy collided again on this weekend’s episode of Saturday night live. Sarah Palin was on this joke critic in Tina Fey's impression of her, alongside Eric Bowdwen and executive producer Loan Michicals.Tina Fey's impersonation now Palin has turned into records reading this for SNL for the last few weeks.
