In this process, the president of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky gave a reconciliation signal to Russia on two issues.

Speaking to the Ukrainian press, Zelensky said that they can give up their goal of NATO membership in return for ceasefire and the withdrawal of Russian soldiers.

"This would be a suitable compromise for everyone." Zelensky said.

The Ukrainian leader also said that are ready to discuss the status of Crimea and Donbas if he meets face-to-face with Putin.
泽连斯基还表示，如果他与普京面对面会晤，准备讨论克里米亚和顿巴斯的立场问题。
Zelensky, even if we can't solve all the problems in one meeting, we have a chance to partial succeed, at least to stop the war, he said.
泽连斯基说，即使我们不能在一次会议上解决所有的问题，我们也有机会取得部分成功，至少可以停止战争。
The Ukrainian leader also said that if an agreement is reached in the negotiations with Russia, the reconciliation items will be put to a referendum.
泽连斯基还表示，如果与俄罗斯在谈判中达成协议，妥协内容，将由乌公民投票决定。
