1.betray vt. 误导，出卖，背叛，泄露
如：As long as you don't betray me, I'll do whatever you ask me to.
只要你不出卖我，要我做什么我都愿意。
He betrayed his country.
他背叛了他的国家。
2.hang on v. 抓紧，坚持，不挂断
如：Hang on at your present job until you can get another.
你在没有找到另一个工作前不要放弃目前的工作。
His victory hangs on one vote.
他的当选取决于一票。
3.perceive vt. 察觉，感觉，认知，理解
如：We had already perceived how the temperature fluctuated.
我们已注意到温度的波动情形。
I perceived a change in his behaviour.

4.give away 背叛，泄露
如：Don't give away to the public when we will start.
不要向公众泄露我们出发的日期。
