In China, studying abroad has a long history.
It can be traced back to 1847 when the first Chinese student Rong Hong went to America to study.
After that, China gradually opened its door to western education, and the first surge of studying abroad appeared in the early 20th century.
According to figures from the Ministry of Education, between 1978, when the country launched the reform and opening up policy, and the end of 2007,
more than 12 million Chinese students have studied abroad.
Nowadays, for many college students, going abroad has become their primary choice after graduation.
Since GRE and TOEFL scores are a must for students to apply for admissions into foreign universities,
taking the TOEFL and GRE has become many college students' main task during their college life.
As the saying goes on many campuses, "College life cannot be fulfilled without taking the GRE(Graduate Record Examination) and TOEFL(Test of English as a Foreign Language)".
