From NPR News in Washington, I'm Jack Spear.US Supreme Court today cut back on the power of the President to temporarily filll senior government's position while the senate is in recess.NPR's reporter Nina Totenberg explainspresidents of both parties have used these recess appointments as a temporary end round around Senate confirmation.President George W Bush used the recess appointment power replaced conservative darling John Bolton at the UN over the opposition of senate democratic and some republicans.But President Obama went one step further.He made three appointments in a National Labor Relations Board even when Senate Republicans complains the Senate was still in session.Obama said 32rd pro forma sessions were a fake, a legal fiction to 4 recess appointment power.The Supreme court however ruled that the senate make its own rules as long as they consider itself in sessions that all the counts.The court four conservatives would have gone further and rule the recess appointment are in anachronism with no place in the country today.Nina Totenberg, NPR News, Washington.This week ruling by a federal court, the state cannot prevent gay couples from getting marriedis already having effect for the decisions by the tenth US Circuit Court of Appeals appeals panel appealed a lower court ruling.This struck down Utah gay marriage-ban.A number of other judges also issued ruling citing they would break the ban in latest in Indianawhere fatal judge to out the same sex marriage-ban yesterday.In a Marion County Harim Wilson told WRTV-TV, he's delighted with this decision.For anybody else who are waiting or dreaming, this is a big day for the enough persons.
