“Democracy” isn’t Coca Cola!

The US is to hold a “summit for democracy”. It seems to think democracy is like Coca Cola, with the same taste for all.

Is there anything more absurd than this? There are all kinds of democracies, yet the US thinks it has the say on what is and isn’t.
还有比这更荒谬的吗？非西方国家发展民主的各种形式 美国却大手一挥 非要强加自己的标准？
US politicians might have forgotten how they adopted the “Three fifths clause” in the country’s first constitution;
美国祖上靠剥削黑奴取得发展 甚至第一部宪法都规定 黑人按白人的五分之三算选举权
They also turn a blind eye to the miserable conditions of African Americans today. So why are they still so proud of their “democracy”?
一直到今天 不少黑人都处境悲惨 面对如此现实还谈民主 是怎么做到的大言不惭？

US politicians also invited counterparts from Taiwan, which is part of China, to the summit, obviously to provoke China.
