It is said that Tianjin was named by an emperor of Ming Dynasty,which means that it is the ferry for the Son of Heaven. In fact, he was not the actual heir to succeed the throne ； however, he seized the crown from his nephew.
据说天津是由明朝时期一位皇帝命名的，意思是天子的渡口。事实上，他并非真正继承皇位的后代，但他却从他侄子手中篡取了皇位。

Although Tianjin is not an ancient capital,it has its own magnificent buildings,modern and ancient. For example, Tianjin Television Tower ,which lies near the Haihe River,reaches high into the sky and becomes a splendid scenery.
尽管天津不是古都，但她有很多美丽的建筑，既充满现代感又富有古代气息。例如，位于海河边的天津电视塔直冲云霄，是一处美丽的风景。
