W: Oh, I'm starving too. Hey，there is a fast food restaurant ahead.
M: There 's always a fast food restaurant ahead. Everywhere you turn, there's another new one.
W: What 's wrong with that? It's convenient.
M: Anything would be convenient if it could be found on every street comer. I'm just sick of seeing it.
W: I like fast food.
M: You know that there 're many restaurants worldwide. By the year 2020, everyone will eat at a fast food restaurant every day!
W: They are definitely everywhere. But they must be doing something right. They've sold more than 100 billion hamburgers. Do you know they even put special Chinese sauce on some of their hamburgers?
M: Whatever, I just don't think their food is all that great.

M: Hi, Sophia, have you made any New Year's resolutions?
W: Just the usual. I'd like to lose some weight，and I want to save some money.
M: Come on! Everybody makes these resolutions.
W: I know, Daniel. Well, I hope I'll get a good job after I graduate this summer, but that's not a resolution. I'm going to work harder. How about you?
M: Hmm. I stopped smoking last July. That was last year's promise to myself.
W: So what do you want to do this year?
M: I want to start getting more exercise. I have to lose weight, so I'd like to join a health club.
W: I'd like to, too. Henry told me he'd like to treat himself to a really nice vacation.
M: Oh, really? That's a good idea.
