Jeff Bezos successfully made it into space and back in a crewed flight of one of his aerospace company Blue Origin. Hendrick Brandy has more.

Things went according to plan here in Van Horn, Texas.
The New Shepherd capsule with booster rocket underneath blasted off into space.
With the Jeff Bezos and three other passengers on board, everything seemed to go just as they had planned it for the last several years,
they've already had 15 test flights of this particular mission.
And this one seemed to go like all the others. The only difference, of course was that there were four humans on board.
The capsule blasted off at 8:12 local time went up into the sky.
And about 75 kilometers, the capsule and the booster separated.
The capsule went on to about 100 kilometers, the so called Karman line, which is considered the edge of space.
The folks on board had about 4 minutes of weightlessness.

They did some somersaults apparently got to enjoy the incredible views up there.

Then the capsule came straight back down. Some parachutes were deployed to slow the descent.
The capsule finally landed at the launch facility about 10 minutes after the flight began.
This mission had a profound impact clearly on Amazon founder and Blue Origin founder Jeff Bezos.
He spoke about what he saw, the impressions of earth below from way up in space.
The most profound piece of it, for me, was looking out at the earth and looking at the earth's atmosphere.
Every astronaut, everybody who's been up into space, they say this, that it changes them and they look at it,
and they're kind of amazed and osstruck by the earth and its beauty, but also by its fragility.
His fellow passengers uttered a similar superlatives.
Among the passengers was his brother Mark, as well as an 18-year-old Dutch teenager, the youngest person ever to go into space.
And the oldest astronaut now ever an 82-year-old Wally Funk,
who was part of the original Mercury Program was never given an opportunity to fly in space back then.
Many consider the space tourism business to be one that could potentially be very lucrative and very promising in the future.
